Arrested journalist Krishnam Raju has reportedly admitted in police interrogation that he should not have made objectionable comments on Amaravati women and that he had spoken incorrectly. He also confessed that family members and well-wishers have also objected to the topics he has been talking about in debates against the government on Sakshi TV for some time.
He said that he has strong feelings against Chief MInister Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP, which is why Kommineni Srinivasa Rao used to call him for TV debates in Sakshi channel. It seems that he said that he developed a close relationship with him.
The Thullur police, who arrested him in the case of making inappropriate comments on Amaravati women, brought him to the Nallapadu police station in Guntur on Wednesday midnight and interrogated him at length. Explaining the journalist’s background, he first alleged that while he was working for an English newspaper, he had differences with the leaders of the then ruling party, and later transferred him to several places and finally lost his job.
Since then, he told the police that he was hostile to TDP and Chandrababu Naidu, later Kommineni used to invite him to debates on Sakshi TV. He admitted that in order to express his views further, he blown up minor issues against Amaravati and the government and spoke controversially.
