Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and prominent film producer Dil Raju on Wednesday announced the details of the upcoming Telangana Gaddar Film Awards at a press conference. He informed that state ministers could not attend the media briefing due to the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash and offered condolences to the victims by observing silence.
The awards ceremony, being held after a gap of 14 years, is scheduled for June 14 at 6 PM at the Hitex Convention Centre in Hyderabad. It will be telecast live by the state’s Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department. Dil Raju stated that the event aims to honour the best films from 2014 to 2023, with awards presented to the film’s lead actor, actress, director, and producer—marking the first time four recognitions will be given per award-winning film. He urged the Telugu film fraternity and audiences to support and make the event a grand success.
