Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu collaborate for the fourth time for their much-anticipated fourth movie together, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. Following the huge success of the first Akhanda, the sequel is expected to be an even larger spectacle with high octane action, a compelling plot, and magnificent production standards.
The movie is being produced by Raam Achanta, Gopichand Achanta under the noted 14 Reels Plus banner, and features the proud presentation of M. Tejaswini Nandamuri. Sources in the industry claim the film is in the process of becoming one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
The teaser and first look of the movie will be a treat for the fans with the latter coming out on June 9 — a special day just before Balakrishna’s birthday. The teaser poster, which is interesting, carries iconic motifs like a trident, Nandi, and a damarukam and hints at the high-intensity tale of the movie.
Adding to the anticipation is the comeback of music director S. Thaman, whose lively tunes were the highlight of the first installment. The lead cast is Samyuktha as heroine and Aadhi Pinisetty in a crucial villainous role, with great performances from all of them complementing Balakrishna’s presence on screen.
As the shoot goes without a hitch and a big Pan-India release is on the cards, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is set to be one of the most anticipated Telugu action entertainers of 2025.
