Actor Manchu Vishnu is preparing for the launch of his most ardent and ambitious film yet – ‘Kannappa’. The makers have scheduled the film for a pan-India release on June 27.
‘Reuniting some of Indian cinema’s biggest stars, Kannappa brings together a stellar ensemble. The cast includes Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Mohan Babu. The movie has already generated a lot of buzz. Promos and teaser visuals have garnered widespread acclaim from fans and film enthusiasts alike.
Vishnu, whose dream film this project is, has invested years of sweat and toil in making it a reality. It wasn’t an easy ride—there were several setbacks along the way. One major incident was the alleged theft of the film’s hard disk. But his determination never gave way, and he continued to push forward to complete the film.
As the release date nears, the producers have formally sealed the film’s runtime to 3 hours and 10 minutes. The longer runtime is a testament to the film’s mythological richness and emotional content.
Mukesh Kumar Singh directs the film, and Mohan Babu produces it under the 24 Frames Factory banner. It features a terrific musical score by composer Stephen Devassy.
