Former YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy was furious against YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s coterie accusing him of meeting a key TDP leader secretary and released a video to that extent. He alleged that by making baseless accusations, the Jagan’s coterie tried to provoke him so as to do harm to Jagan. He admitted that he went to Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao’s house and at that time, TDP leader TD Janardhan came there.
He said that he was not aware of his coming and clarified that no political discussions took place between them. Recalling that he had earlier clarified he has no intention of joining TDP in his lifetime, he said if he wants he can directly meet Chandrababu Naidu or Nara Lokesh and need not have any mediator.
Moreover, he said earlier both of them were his political opponents, but now as he quits politics he has no enmity with anyone.
Stating that Jaganmohan Reddy is stating repeatedly there is no liquor scam, then he wondered why their party leaders are accusing him of discussion about the `imaginary scam’ with the TDP? He said that he only mentioned A1 of the scam in the SIT inquiry, but did not mention anyone else.
It is known that Jaganmohan Reddy accused Vijayasai Reddy of being another person who surrendered to Chandrababu. Strongly refuting Jagan, he cautioned that “My silence is not acceptable to the coterie in YSRCP. That is why the YSCP has posted false posts against me on social media”.
“I am reacting under unavoidable circumstances because they are harassing and irritating me. Those who believe that Jagan garu will suffer losses due to my reaction are the ones who are provoking me. The ill-considered actions of this coterie, which has no political experience, may benefit those who want to become the number 2 priority in the party, but it will not benefit Jagan garu,” he added.
“Since the coterie decided to make me a scapegoat once again in scams that had nothing to do with me, and since they had been insulting me for 4 years, I came out unable to put my head on the ground of non-existent accusations”, he pointed out.
He recalled that he had taken responsibility when 21 cases were filed against him also in 2011, though he had no connection and asserted if Jagan had asked him without trying to push him through the coterie, he would have taken responsibility for 2025 cases also.
Lamenting that the coterie itself stabbed him in the back, Vijayasai Reddy deplored that he had served the family for 3 generations, was put aside by Jagan believing the coterie’s words. “If someone puts the crimes committed by the coterie on his head, will Sai Reddy be good, but if he doesn’t do that, will he be bad? If he doesn’t do that, will he be a traitor? If he doesn’t do that, will he be a man who has sold out to the TDP?”, he asked.
