Endowment Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has alleged that Andhra Pradesh has suffered serious losses and has been financially damaged in the last five years under the Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime. He said that there is a situation where it is not known what happened to the central and state funds under the YSRCP government.
He said that there is no record of even a single inch of soil being planted in the villages. He said that in the past, more than 1.50 lakh acres of irrigated land was never provided for the second crop. This year, he said as many as 5.50 lakh acres of irrigated land were provided. He reminded that drinking water was provided to every household under the Jala Jeevan Mission.
Minister Ramanarayana Reddy reminded that after the coalition government came to power, Rs. 1200 crores of funds were allocated to the villages. He emphasized that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it possible to proudly say that the capital of AP is Amaravati by working in his own style. He said that in the past, there were potholes on any road.
The Minister revealed that his government has allocated Rs. 850 crore for roads and has made them pothole-free. He said that BPCL and Indosil projects have come to AP under his government. He said that efforts are being made to bring Dugarajapatnam Port in addition to Ramayapatnam Port. He said that the construction of an airport is about to begin in Dagadarthi.
Ramanarayana Reddy said that his government is distributing the increased pension of Rs. 68 lakhs on the first of every month. He said that they are providing welfare schemes despite all the difficulties. He suggested that the activists should explain the good works being done by their government in the villages and only then will no party come even close to the TDP. He made it clear that TDP leaders and activists in Nellore district are working together for the people.
