Semi- High speed circular Rail project To come up In Amaravati connecting with Vijayawada- Guntur

The coalition government, which is making serious efforts to accelerate development in the capital of AP, Amaravati, has taken another key decision. The government, which is already bringing key projects to the fore in the capital of Amaravati, is making serious efforts to ground them. At the same time, it is proposing new projects.

In the same vein, a key decision has been taken on the semi-high-speed circular rail project in the capital of Amaravati. The government has started efforts to run a semi-high-speed suburban circular train connecting the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur, which fall under the Amaravati capital.

As part of this, the project is being designed to enable this train to run between Namburu, Amaravati, Guntur and Tenali, starting from Vijayawada. The AP government has directed the Metro Rail Corporation to prepare a DPR for this. Several areas in the joint Krishna and Guntur districts are included in the scope of this project.

These include Vijayawada and Guntur cities as well as Krishna Canal, Duggirala, Tenali, Vejendla, Mangalagiri, Satenapalle, Nujiveedu, Gudivada, and Gannavaram. Currently, there is a lot of train traffic on the route between Vijayawada and Guntur. With this, an alternative route is going to be developed. With the Center also giving in-principle approval for this, the government is working to prepare the DPR soon and start the work.

Meanwhile, the Capital Region Development Council meeting will be held on Monday. This is the 48th meeting. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will preside over it. Many key decisions are likely to be taken regarding the construction of the capital. It seems that the status of the lands allocated for the construction of Law University and Quantum Valley will come up for discussion on this occasion.

The government allocated lands for both of these in the previous CRDA meeting itself. Lands were allocated to the Income Tax Department, Red Cross Society, Coastal Bank, and IRCTC at that time. The government will discuss these issues and give final approval.
