Saudi Arabia-Based ISIS plot To carry out A Major Blasts In Hyderabad In Retaliation To Operation Sindoor Foiled

Intelligence agencies have reportedly foiled an ISIS conspiracy to carry out major blasts in Hyderabad in retaliation to Operation Sindoor. It is learnt that the NIA, Telangana and AP Counter Intelligence Police have foiled this conspiracy. It is learnt that if the wire is pulled in Vizianagaram in AP, then a diversion has been made in Hyderabad.

It is learnt that intelligence agencies have identified the conspiracy is being prepared here on the orders of representatives of ISIS and affiliated organizations from Saudi Arabia. They have been focusing on a young man named Siraj Ur Rehman (29) from Vizianagaram for a few days. His behavior, online chatting, online purchases etc. were highly suspicious and the police raided his house.

The raw materials required to make dangerous chemicals and explosives in his house. Siraj was detained and interrogated and his links to Hyderabad were revealed. It is reported that the police have found that Siraj discussed the matter with Syed Sameer (28), a lift operator from Bhoiguda, Hyderabad.

It is learned that the Counter Intelligence Police arrested Sameer and shifted him to Vizianagaram after the NIA informed the Telangana Police in this regard. The preliminary investigation revealed that the two were planning to carry out blasts in Hyderabad together.

The police found that the raw materials required for the explosives were purchased online. The police and intelligence agencies have not officially announced this matter yet. It may be recalled that  after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army destroyed terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK under the name of Operation Sindoor.

Moreover, Assamese police have arrested 19-year-old Mofizul Islam, who was posting security information from India on Pakistani WhatsApp groups in connection with Pakistan, in Gollapalli, Sangareddy district. The state police received information that Mofizul Islam, a resident of Assam, was helping Pakistanis create WhatsApp accounts with Indian phone numbers.

On the 14th of this month, the Gujarat Military Intelligence informed the Assam Police about the allegation that he was selling SIM cards without Aadhaar cards and voter cards in Assam. Immediately, the Assam Police launched Operation Ghost SIM. Mofizul Islam was arrested and taken to Gollapalli on the 16th of this month.

Islam is suspected of being a Pakistani spy without identity cards while working in a mobile shop in Assam and selling fake SIM cards to Pakistanis.

In this context, the police and intelligence sources say that the terrorists are likely to make various attempts to turn the youth towards them. Intelligence agencies believe that there are possibilities that terrorists’ affiliates and sympathizers are operating in various countries, not just Pakistan.
