CM Revanth Reddy says His Goal Is To Make one crore women Millionaires

Stating that women are the role models of the country, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that his goal is to make one crore women millionaires. Inaugurating the WeHub Women Acceleration Program at the Jubilee Hills JRC Convention, he said that one crore women should become millionaires if the state is to reach a 1 trillion dollar economy.

“We have introduced free travel facilities in RTC buses for women. We are providing cylinders for girl children at Rs. 500. We have entrusted the management of Amma Adarsh Schools to women. On the 21st of this month, Miss World contestants will visit the Indira Mahila stalls. The number of SERP members should be increased to one crore”, he said.

The Chief Minister said that Congress has never underestimated the power of women.  “We have entrusted the sewing of student uniforms to women’s groups and given them assurance. We are encouraging women in business. We are encouraging women’s groups to start petrol pumps and solar power generation businesses. We are encouraging women to do businesses that were confined to Adani and Ambani”, he said.

He said that they have allocated stalls in Shilparamam to display the products of self-help groups. “We believe that the state will progress economically only when girls stand with self-respect. We want to increase the number of members of self-help groups to one crore. We will encourage you as your Revanth”, he added.

Revanth Reddy said that in the country, if Rs. 16 lakh crore is given to corporate companies, they had embezzled it and left the country. But if they give loans to girls, he asserted they pay it back without embezzling a single rupee, including interest. He asserted that financial discipline belongs to our girls.

“We have already handed over the business of generating 1,000 megawatts of solar power to women. If you manage it efficiently, we are ready to provide another 1,000 megawatts of solar power if necessary. We are giving gifts to guests coming to the state only from the products produced by women in self-help groups”, he said.

The Chief Minister said that the government’s policy is to promote girl children in Telangana and instructed the officials to organize a special drive to include women in urban areas in self-help groups.
