Nellore police Intensifying search To Arrest Former YSRCP Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy

The Nellore police have been intensifying their search for former minister Kakani Goverdhan Reddy, who has been absconding for two months in the quartz case. They have launched search operations in Hyderabad and Bangalore. They are searching the houses and farmhouses of Kakani’s relatives. They are expecting that he may be arrested at any moment.

On the other hand, the police have issued notices to 12 other people in the quartz case. Former minister Kakani is A4 in the quartz case. In the past, he made futile attempts to get bail approaching the High Court. It seems that he has been absconding from the police for a few days in Hyderabad and for a few years in Bangalore.

It is reported that he has not even spoken to his family on WhatsApp. Two police teams led by Nellore Rural DSP Srinivas are conducting a large-scale search in Bengaluru. It was suspected that he was hiding in the houses of a retired IRS officer for some time. With this, the police have also conducted inspections there. On the other hand, two police teams are also searching for Kakani in Hyderabad.

Moreover, the police are conducting a full investigation in this case. In this process, it was found that a large number of transactions worth crores of rupees were made in the account of a woman named Supraja. The police also went to her house and tried to serve notices. However, since she did not take the notices, they pasted notices on the wall of the house.

The police have also identified 12 people in this case. Among them one person is Kakani’s son-in-law. When they went to serve notices to all of them, since they were not there, they were still pasting notices on the walls of the houses.  It seems that if they do not respond after giving notices two or three times, they may arrest all of them.

Presently, the investigation into the Quartz case is progressing very rapidly. On the orders of District SP Krishnakanth, police teams have been working actively and have intensified the search even more than before.
