Big Shock To YSRCP Senior Leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy: Forest Department Files Case

In a setback to the YSR Congress Party, veteran leader and MLA from Punganur Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is now in serious legal trouble. Andhra Pradesh Forest Department filed a complaint against him for occupying illegally 27.98 acres of forest land at Mangalam Peta, Pulicherla Mandal, Chittoor district.

According to the initial observations brought by forest officials, Peddireddy and his family members allegedly entered into encroached forest land, illegally occupied the place, and damaged the ecological balance of the region. The case was formally booked, following field reports and evidence collected by the department.

The event has evoked robust political responses. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is reported to have shown utmost seriousness regarding the issue. He is said to have directed the officials to proceed with criminal actions against all the accused who have been involved in the suspected land grabbing.

With investigations progressing, all eyes are now on how the state government and enforcement agencies will handle this politically sensitive case.
