After Liquor scam Evokes counter Accusations By Kesineni Brothers, Vijayawada MP Nani seeks CBI probe

After the infamous AP Liquor Scam, known as a money making machine for the previous YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime, Kesineni brothers in Vijayawada locked up in counter allegations against each other. After, former MP Kesineni Nani alleged that present MP Kesineni Chinni has financial transactions with the prime accused in the case Raj Kasireddy, intially denying allegations Nandi now seeking a CBI probe into it.

Chinni said that he is writing a letter to the CBI to investigate the allegations against him. Referring to his brother Nani’s allegations, he admitted that he is familiar with Raj Kasireddy, he met him four times. He said that the two of them had set up a company together and planned to develop it. He revealed that he had borne all the expenses for six months, including the development of that company.

However, he clarified that seeing Raj Kasireddy’s proximity with the former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his dealings, he had abandoned the investments he had made in that company and was staying away from Raj Kasireddy. Moreover, the mastermind behind the Rs 3,200 crore liquor scam was a person in the Tadepalli Palace.

At the same time, making severe accusations against his elder brother and former MP Nani, he demanded a probe against accusations that hawala was done through two companies in Dubai and America belonging to Nani. He said that he would bear the necessary expenses for that.

Meanwhile,  Aam Aadmi Party Zonal Coordinator Nethi Maheshwara Rao said that Kesineni brothers counter allegations should not be viewed as a dispute between brothers. Alleging that it is making clear involvement of MP Chinni in the liquor scam, he said that probe should be focused against him also.

He alleged that if the money due to the state treasury is paid to the liquor companies, then the money collected from the liquor companies of Rs 3200 crores was invested in the real estate business. He said companies that were invested are Eshanvi and Pryde. If the government SIT report states that one of those companies, Pryde Infracon Private Limited, is owned by Kesineni Chinni’s wife Kesineni Janaki Lakshmi, then how can this be a fight between brothers?, he asked.
