Nara Lokesh Responds Strongly To Jagan’s ‘Red Book’ Remarks, Reaffirms Commitment To Justice

TDP leader and minister Nara Lokesh has hit back at YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s claims about a “Red Book regime” in Andhra Pradesh, making it clear that he stands firm on his promise of justice.

Lokesh, who landed in Renigunta Airport, Tirupati, on Wednesday night for a two-day tour, held an intense meeting with party leaders and cadre that stretched till 11 PM. During the interaction, leaders raised concerns over Jagan’s latest comments — to which Lokesh responded with confidence and clarity.

“There’s no need to doubt the Red Book. I will never let go of it,” Lokesh assured. “While YSRCP leaders talk about a Red Book, even some of our own people have doubts. But let me be clear — everyone whose name I wrote down during my padayatra will get justice. The Red Book will ensure that. No one needs to worry.”

Lokesh emphasized that he understood the hardships faced by those who were targeted with false cases or imprisoned during the previous YSRCP government. He promised that each and every injustice would be addressed, urging party workers to trust his leadership.

At the same time, Lokesh stressed the need to revitalize the party’s activities. “It’s been nearly a year since the alliance government took charge, but we haven’t rolled out major party programs yet,” he noted. Announcing plans for upcoming initiatives, he called for a grand Mahanadu to set the party’s future roadmap. He made it clear that it would be up to the leaders and workers to carry these programs forward and connect with the public.

Lokesh further assured, “I will personally track what every leader and worker is doing. I will guide you on what needs to be done. Positions won’t be handed out just for hanging around me. You’ll get them only by working closely with the people.”

Reflecting on his own political journey, Lokesh said his ministerial role was earned through hard work and his commitment to the people during his padayatra. “That’s how I got this role — by being among the people. In the same way, our leaders and workers will get positions through dedication and service. There’s no room for doubt,” he affirmed.
