Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that there is no room for politics during Operation Sindoor, which the Indian Army has undertaken in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, and that the security of our country is important. An emergency review meeting was held at the Command Control Center on Wednesday with senior officials of the Army, Police, Disaster Management and other related departments.
It was decided to hold a rally from the Secretariat to Necklace Road at 6 pm on Thursday in solidarity with the Indian Army to send a message that we are all with the country’s army. Ministers and other leaders will attend this rally along with CM Revanth Reddy. The CM decided to cancel the leaves of employees of departments providing emergency services in this meeting.
All ministers and officials were advised to be available and to cancel foreign trips. The Chief Minister ordered that those illegally residing in the state from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh be immediately detained. The CM advised that all employees and ministers should be available. He warned that strict action will be taken if government employees make unnecessary statements in the media and social media.
He cautioned that fake news is likely to increase public anxiety and a crackdown should be imposed on those who spread such things. He suggested that a special cell be set up to curb fake news and information be collected from time to time on the availability of beds in private hospitals. He suggested that the Red Cross be coordinated. A toll-free number should be made available to the public 24 hours a day.
It was suggested to the officials to ensure that there are sufficient stocks of emergency medicine and food and to prepare blood banks. CCTV cameras should be connected to the command control room within the limits of the three commissionerates in Hyderabad. It was suggested that security should be increased at all foreign embassies and IT companies in Hyderabad. The police should be alert in Hyderabad city and should focus on cyber security.
