Suhas Makes His Kollywood Debut with Mandaadi; First Look Creates Buzz

Suhas, the talented Telugu actor known for his non-conformist film selection and association with newer-generation filmmakers, is now joining the Tamil cine world. Suhas will make his official Kollywood debut as a key performer in the new sports drama Mandaadi. His entry into Tamil cinema has created buzz in his fan community as well as industry circles.

Mandaadi is helmed by Pugazhendhi Mathimaran and is bankrolled by celebrated director Vetri Maaran, known for his gritty, earthy storytelling. In line with Vetri Maaran’s cinematography, the sports drama is bound to have a gritty, realistic appeal with underlying emotional depth.

The producers released Suhas’s first look poster of Mandaadi today, in which he appears as the team captain Tsunami Riders. Donning an angry and rugged look, Suhas appears thoroughly convincing in this strong role. Surprisingly, the makers have taken a decision to keep his moral color of his character a secret, keeping the audience guessing whether he will turn out to be a hero or a villain in the narrative.

Along with Suhas in the movie is Soori, a popular Tamil actor, who also has an important role. GV Prakash Kumar is taking care of the music and S.R. Karthik is the cinematographer, giving Mandaadi a well-oiled technical team, which increases the expectations from the film even more.

Sources from the production confirm that Mandaadi will not be an average sports movie but will dig deep into the troubles, feelings, and determination of its characters, providing a gritty and true sports drama experience.
