YCP coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy asked the party leaders that they should move forward by understanding the issues of how to take the party’s ideas and policies to the people so that to give a fitting response to the challenges being faced from the ruling coalition.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy held a meeting with the party’s district official spokespersons and state spokespersons of affiliated departments at the YCP central office in Tadepalli on Monday. MLC Lella Appireddy, General Secretaries Gadikota Srikanth Reddy and Pudi Srihari participated in this meeting.
Sajjala cautioned that they are facing a strong and powerful opponent who can mislead the people through the media. He said that if awareness is raised on every issue, it can reach the people widely with the help of smartphones.
He stressed the need for official spokespersons to cultivate awareness on complicated issues at a time widespread publicity is being carried out by the political opponents to make the people feel whatever Chandrababu Naidu does is a historical necessity.
He accused that the ruling party is mostly launching fake news factories and engaging in fake propaganda. He deplored that though the YCP opposed the Waqf Bill, that it was also falsely promoted. He cautioned that the ruling coalition is doing many scams, but spreading false propaganda without letting the evidence come out.
Sajjala accused them of looting in the name of advances whether the projects come or not. He said that those who have distanced themselves from YSRCP due to misconceptions and suspicions should be brought closer. He suggested that the perverse game that Chandrababu is playing in the name of politics should be brought to the people.
YSRCP MLC Appireddy said that democracy has become a murderer under the coalition rule. Will those who won by popular vote be worthless if they are forced to defect from the party and get positions?, he asked. He alleged that there is no greater injustice than the fact that TDP won despite not having strength in the party. He deplored that YSRCP leaders are being threatened with atrocities and attacks.
