Ira Khan Opens Up on Financial Dependency, Aamir Khan Responds

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has voiced strong support for his daughter Ira Khan, who recently shared her experiences of self-doubt and financial dependency. In a recent interview, Ira revealed that at 27, she struggled with feelings of being “useless” due to a lack of independent income and reliance on her parents. She said these emotions affected her before she established her mental health organization, the Agatsu Foundation.

Reacting to his daughter’s reflections, Aamir Khan emphasized the value of service over financial gain. “Some people help others for money, while others do so without expecting payment. What matters is the act of helping, not whether you are compensated,” Aamir said.

The actor expressed pride in Ira’s commitment to mental health awareness. “I am very proud that you are helping so many people. Whether or not you are earning from it does not matter to me; what matters is that you are making a difference,” he affirmed.

Ira Khan, through the Agatsu Foundation, has been working to promote mental health awareness and offer support to those in need. It is also known that Aamir and Ira have previously attended therapy sessions together, underlining their shared commitment to mental well-being.
