Nani Comments on Leak of Visuals from Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 29

The highly anticipated film SSMB 29, directed by S.S. Rajamouli and starring Superstar Mahesh Babu, recently faced controversy when several key visuals, particularly those featuring Mahesh Babu, were leaked online. The incident occurred following a recent filming schedule in a forest area in Odisha. In response to the leak, actor Nani shared his thoughts, stating that such occurrences are unfortunately common in large-scale film projects.

Speaking about the challenges of safeguarding film footage, Nani highlighted the scale of Rajamouli’s films, which involve hundreds of crew members and numerous junior artists. “Films directed by Rajamouli are massive in scale, and the production process involves a large number of technical experts. Normally, phones are not allowed on shoot locations, but some people manage to bypass the rules. They sneak in phones and take photos or videos without permission,” Nani explained.

Nani further added that preventing such leaks entirely is difficult, noting, “When there is an intent to leak something, there are always ways to do it. Despite all precautions, these leaks continue to happen. Even though Rajamouli tries to maintain secrecy, some visuals inevitably get out. We must find ways to address this issue and prevent further leaks.”

The visuals featuring Mahesh Babu from the Odisha shoot went viral on social media, prompting the film’s team to take immediate action to have the footage removed.
