Telangana Congress Party Affairs In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has directed that only those who have been in the party since 2017 should be in the party committees. She also said that women’s representation should be increased. She announced that district level meetings will be held from 25th to 30th of this month.
She suggested that the party’s ideology and organizational strength should be promoted from the village level. She warned that the party leadership should work seriously with great sincerity in this regard. Speaking at the Congress Party district observers’ meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Meenakshi said that two observers have been allotted to each district.
She asked that five names be given to the PCC for the selection of mandal presidents and three names for the block Congress. She asked that invitations be sent to 70 observers. The PCC removed those who came late to this meeting as observers. She issued orders to remove MLA Vakiti Srihari and five other leaders from the observers.
Meenakshi Natarajan said that it has now been decided to take up the party’s organizational structure on the Gujarat model. She suggested that the Congress party’s ideologies should be widely disseminated to the people. She called for being ready for ideological struggle.
She appreciated that for the first time in the country, the implementation of caste census, 42 percent reservations and SC classification in Telangana is historic. She reminded that the Revanth Reddy government has undertaken many welfare and development programs that have not been undertaken anywhere else in the country.
She emphasized that the Revanth government has undertaken welfare and development programs that the Modi government and the previous KCR government did not undertake in the country. Meenakshi Natarajan suggested that we should take the revolutionary programs undertaken by the government widely to the people.
TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud said that the TPCC will be completely cleansed in Telangana state. He said that all the committees from the village level to the district level will be constituted.
