Former MP Vijayasai Reddy has announced that his role in the AP liquor scam is that of a whistleblower. He tweeted a sensational statement saying, “Only half of the liquor thieves have been exposed.. I will fully cooperate in exposing the rest.” It is noteworthy that he made this statement the day after the police arrested Raj Kasireddy, the key mastermind in this scam.
The liquor scam that took place during the previous YSRCP government is causing a lot of commotion. It is known that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP leaders have said that this scam is a very bigger scam than the Delhi liquor scam that led to the arrest of many prominent people including the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and the then Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter Kavitha.
The SIT has already collected much evidence in this case. Based on them, it has questioned many people. Vijayasai Reddy has also given his statement to the SIT officials as a witness. Now, the former MP has made key comments on the latest liquor scam. He said that he would fully cooperate in bringing out the thieves in the liquor scam.
“My role in the AP liquor scam is that of a whistleblower. The thieves who were caught and the thieves who were not caught are dragging my name to escape. I have not touched a single rupee. Only half of the clothes of the liquor thieves were undressed. I will fully cooperate in undressing the rest of their clothes”, Vijayasai Reddy tweeted.
The former MP said that Kasireddy was the whole and sole player in the liquor scam from the beginning. He also gave a statement to the SIT officials as a witness in this case. Recently, Sai Reddy, who attended the SIT hearing, said that the entire liquor scam was carried out under Kasireddy’s supervision. Now, Vijaya Sai Reddy’s latest tweet on the liquor scam has become a sensation.
It is known that Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy was arrested by the police in Hyderabad on Monday night. After bringing him to Vijayawada, the SIT officials interrogated Kasireddy from 11 pm to 3 am.
The SIT team, which interrogated Raj Kasireddy for four hours at night, started questioning him in the morning. The SIT is trying hard to extract information from Kasireddy in this case. The SIT officials are questioning Raj Kasireddy based on the evidence collected and several statements.
