In a decisive move, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has turned his focus toward tackling the growing menace of land grabbing across the state. On Friday, Pawan held a high-level teleconference with department officials after receiving a surge of land-related complaints through his office and the Jana Vani platform.
Expressing strong concern, Pawan said it’s heartbreaking to see honest citizens struggling to safeguard their hard-earned or inherited properties. He directly blamed the previous YSRCP government for enabling this crisis, accusing their leaders of deliberately stirring up disputes around legally owned lands to aid illegal land occupations.
Not waiting for others to take the initiative, Pawan Kalyan himself announced a district tour of the whole state, where he would himself hear people’s complaints regarding lands. These grievance meetings with the public would be conducted in the presence of collectors, joint collectors, and revenue officers so that these complaints were settled transparently and immediately.
The tour is to start in Visakhapatnam and Kakinada, where Pawan clearly indicated that rigorous legal action would be initiated against anyone implicated in land scams or false documents—irrespective of political ties.
Reiterating his thrust for clean and transparent administration, Pawan stated that the present coalition government is committed to regaining people’s confidence in the system and upholding the right of every citizen to its property. His aggressive strategy indicates a solid stand against corruption and renewed emphasis on public good.
