Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Responds to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s Remarks on ‘Young India’

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has countered Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments about his ‘Young India’ brand. Sanjay criticized Revanth for associating with the ‘Young India’ brand in Telangana, stating that Reddy’s inspiration comes from the term “Young India Private Limited.”

Accusing the Nehru family of embezzling ₹2,000 crore under the ‘Young India’ name, Sanjay alleged that Revanth Reddy is planning a ₹50,000 crore scam with the ‘Fourth City’ project. He condemned the use of the ‘Young India’ name, claiming it is an attempt to exploit the state’s poor, much like the Nehru family did in the past.

Sanjay further advised that any brand adopted should be understood for its historical context, warning that using a brand linked to corruption and illegality would evoke memories of past misdeeds.

The Minister clarified that the BJP had no involvement in the National Herald case, which began during the UPA government’s tenure in 2011. He noted that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were granted bail when the case was registered and emphasized that the BJP had no connection to it. He also raised questions about whether Indian laws apply to the Gandhis.

On the Waqf Amendment Bill, Bandi Sanjay cautioned that protests similar to those in Bengal might occur in Telangana if the bill is passed. He expressed concerns that the protests could escalate into violence if not managed properly.
