After years of dating, Sonakshi Sinha married her love, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23 last year in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their family members and close friends. The couple registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act at the actress’s residence in Mumbai.

Earlier, a romantic fan-made reel of the couple went viral on Instagram with the caption, “Don’t get married if your man is not this obsessed with you.” While fans showered love on the video, a troll left a rude comment saying, “Ur divorce is too close to u.” Rather than ignore it, Sonakshi hit back with sass, replying, “Pehle teri mummy papa karenge, phir hum… promise!”
