Bollywood’s young and talented actress Sharvari Wagh is reportedly set to play the female lead alongside Ranveer Singh in the much-anticipated action film Don 3.
Renowned actor-director Farhan Akhtar earlier announced the eagerly awaited third installment, Don 3, with Ranveer Singh as the main lead. The news generated buzz as Ranveer Singh replaced the Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. Initially, Kiara Advani was announced as the female lead. However, the Game Changer actress has stepped away from the project due to her pregnancy.
This led to speculation about who would take on the leading female role, with names suggesting National Award-winning actress Kriti Sanon and the fresh face Sharvari Wagh. In a recent development, it is now suggested that Sharvari has been brought on board. As many are expecting a star heroine for the film, Farhan Akhtar has chosen Sharvari for this action drama.
Sharvari Wagh, known for her roles in Munjya, Vedaa, and Maharaaj, has scored hits at the box office and garnered praise for her performances. She is currently filming Alpha with Alia Bhatt as her co-star. Alpha is a part of YRF’s Spy Universe and its first female-led installment, set to release on Christmas, December 25, 2025. Once Alpha promotions conclude, Sharvari is expected to begin work on Don 3.
Don 3 will be jointly produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainments. With production set to commence soon, the film will be released in 2026.
