Laukya Entertainments, under the leadership of Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni, is currently working on its latest venture, Dandora. Directed by Murali Kanth, the film is in the midst of its second schedule, progressing rapidly with a continuous 25-day shooting period. The film has recently added actress Bindu Madhavi to its cast, who plays a courtesan in a role that promises emotional depth and thought-provoking content.
Along with Bindu Madhavi, versatile actor Shivaji is already part of the ongoing schedule. The movie also features a strong supporting cast, including Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manik, Anusha, and Radhya, with each actor taking on significant roles.
Dandora has already raised expectations with its first-beat video and is being touted as a film that will address social issues, particularly focusing on the struggles faced by women from higher castes who marry outside their caste. The film explores the violence and prejudice that follows such unions.
Set in rural Telangana, the film will highlight ancient traditions, customs, and social practices, while blending satire, humor, and emotional depth. The music for Dandora is composed by Mark K. Robin.
With a storyline that speaks to contemporary issues and a promising cast, Dandora is building anticipation, following the success of Laukya Entertainments’ previous projects like Colour Photo, which won a National Award, and the highly successful Bedurulanka 2012.
