Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that a special law is going to be brought soon for the protection of BCs. He said that 55 corporations have been set up for BCs and a special plan has been brought for BCs. CM Chandrababu emphasized that the government’s goal is to take BCs ahead of all other communities.
Stating that the backbone of TDP has been the BC community since the beginning, he said that he will work tirelessly for the development and welfare of BCs. The Chief Minister said that along with PM Modi and Pawan Kalyan, they are working together for the upliftment of the backward communities.
CM Chandrababu spoke at a `Praja Vedika’ organized with BC communities in Vadlamanu village of Agiripalli mandal, Eluru district. He said that justice was not done to the weaker communities until the TDP came and the TDP is the only party that has done justice to them.
CM Chandrababu announced that he would give an honorarium of Rs. 25,000 to the Nayi Brahmins working in temples. He said that a committee has been formed to draft a law for the protection of BCs. He said that the law will be brought as soon as the committee report comes. He assured that he would support Minister Parthasarathy to fully develop Nuzvid.
He recalled that during NTR’s regime, BCs got Gurukul schools and 9 Gurukul schools have been set up for fishing families and Rs. 15 lakhs are being provided to those studying abroad.
He said that he is supporting those writing the Civil and Group exams. He revealed that a Civils coaching center is being set up in Amaravati and coaching will be provided to 500 per batch. He said that Rs. 1,000 crores will be spent annually under Adarana-3.
Chandrababu said that steps have been taken to increase the reservation of BCs from 26 to 34 percent. He said that 33 percent reservation has been provided in jobs and 34 percent in local bodies, and BC Bhavans have been inaugurated district-wise.
He said that the goal is to turn one lakh women into entrepreneurs this year, that they will support farmers and encourage commercial crops. He revealed that farmers will be given Rs. 20,000 in installments from May.
