Man of Masses Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited project is one of the most anticipated releases. Tentatively titled NTRNeel, the film is reportedly titled “Dragon.” This high-octane entertainer continues to build excitement and is now gearing up for a grand Pongal 2026 release on January 9.
Excitingly, the makers have dropped a big tease today, revealing an exciting update is set to drop tomorrow at 12:06 PM. Taking to the social media handle X, the makers wrote, “Tomorrow 12:06 PM. Stay tuned! #NTRNeel.”
With the hype surrounding the film, this announcement has ignited another level. Speculations arise that the upcoming announcement could be about Jr. NTR officially joining the shoot, which commenced earlier this February. The team has recently wrapped up the first schedule and is preparing to start the next one in Sri Lanka, with NTR expected to jump into action soon.
Speaking more of the NTR Neel project, the film is jointly produced on a massive scale by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth is rumored to play the female lead, although no official confirmation has been made yet by the makers. KGF and Salaar fame Ravi Basrur is composing the musical score, adding to the film’s powerhouse team.
Meanwhile, Jr. NTR’s Bollywood debut, ‘War 2,’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, is slated to hit screens on August 14 this year .He also has another biggie in the pipeline with Sithara Entertainments, which is expected to be helmed by Nelson Dileepkumar. As for Prashanth Neel, he is expected to return to helm ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’ post this project.
