Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh made interesting comments saying, “My competition is with Chief Minister Chandrababu only”. As part of the `Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh’ program, he distributed permanent house titles to 99 people from Neerukonda village and 199 people from Ratnala Cheruvu.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that he will try to compete with CM Chandrababu in every regard. He expressed his happiness that he has kept the challenge he made with Chandrababu that he will get even one more vote than the heap. He made it clear that he will take the responsibility of solving any problems faced by the people of Mangalagiri.
He said that he will work with the people of Mangalagiri with his heart. He said that in the coming days, there will be no electricity wires in Mangalagiri. He said that along with underground electricity, underground drainage and underground gas systems will be brought in. He said that Mangalagiri will be made an ideal constituency in Swachh Bharat.
Lokesh said that everyone’s cooperation is needed for a clean Mangalagiri and no one should throw garbage in front of their houses. He said that if someone throws garbage in front of their houses, he will also pick up the garbage with them. He said that he is providing permanent rights to property worth Rs. 1000 crores in the open market to the people of Mangalagiri.
He said that the more majority he is given, the stronger he will become. He said that the Super 6 promises will be implemented in a systematic manner and he will ensure that there is no problem in Mangalagiri. He said that he is happy that he has kept the promise given to Chandrababu that he will make Mangalagiri a stronghold of Telugu Desam along with Kuppam.
Lokesh said that distributing house pattas to the poor of Mangalagiri has been a dream of two and a half decades. Minister Lokesh stated that he had implemented 26 welfare programs while in the opposition, with special focus on Mangalagiri, to show that he had won where he had lost.
