KCR says He will Attend Assembly sessions, Expose Revanth Reddy’s Government

Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition K Chandrasekhar Rao, who has been keeping away from assembly sessions for the last 15 months, revealed that he will personally participate in the upcoming assembly sessions and expose the Revanth Reddy government’s behavior.

Stating that people are tired of the incompetent rule of the Congress, he accused that the 15-month Congress government’s rule has once again proven that the BRS party is the shield of Telangana society. On Friday, KCR convened an emergency meeting with party leaders at his farm in Erravalli. KTR, Harish Rao and several former ministers, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders participated in this.

“We have given the Congress party a lot of time. We have waited patiently for it to fulfill the promises made to the people in the elections. But, while the Congress government has not done anything, it is wasting time with false propaganda that is causing trouble to farmers and people”, KCR said.

He told the party leaders that let’s see what the state government does on BC reservations and then fight on behalf of the BCs. It seems that the BRS party will contest on two seats in the MLA quota MLC elections. It is reported that KCR discussed this issue in a meeting held with party leaders.

It is learned that the names of Satyavati Rathod, RS Praveen Kumar and Dasoju Shravan were mainly mentioned in the discussion on who to field. However, there is a possibility of fielding two of them. Party sources said that KCR will announce the names of those two soon.

Meanwhile, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao deplored that the new Income Tax (IT) Bill introduced by the Center will pose a threat to the digital privacy of citizens. He believed that the ‘virtual digital spices’ mentioned in it could lead to harassment, abuse and widespread surveillance.

The former IT minister said that the new Income Tax Bill will give unlimited powers to IT officials in the name of tax inspection on social media, emails and online trading accounts. KTR called on citizens and the opposition to oppose this bill proposed by the Center.
