The much-awaited sports drama “Test,” starring Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth in the lead roles, is gearing up for its release. Ditching the theatrical release, the film is set to premiere directly on Netflix.
The popular streaming OTT platform, Netflix, has officially announced the release date, revealing it will premiere on April 4, 2025. The film is scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, ensuring a broad reach among audiences.
Helmed by debutant director S. Sashikanth, the film Test follows the gripping story of three individuals whose fates become intertwined during a historic international cricket Test match in Chennai, forced to make choices that change everything. Siddharth takes on the role of a cricketer, while Madhavan plays his coach.
Expectations are high for this sports drama as the film has powerhouse performers like Nayanthara, Madhavan, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine, as they are well known for their strong performances. Produced by Y Not Studios, talented music composer Shakthisree Gopalan is composing the soulful music for this film.
