A social media post on the X platform by Harshavardhan Reddy comparing AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan with actor Sampurnesh Babu has drawn sharp criticism. Despite cases being registered against those who post derogatory content online, some individuals continue to share inappropriate posts targeting public figures.
According to reports, the controversy erupted after Pawan Kalyan was seen performing holy dips during the Kumbh Mela alongside his wife Ana, son Akira Nandan, director Trivikram Srinivas, and TTD member Anand Sayil. Reddy’s post juxtaposed an image of Pawan Kalyan’s devotional act with that of another film personality, prompting a strong response from Janasena members.
Janasena leader Rishikesh Kawali filed a complaint at the Two Town Police Station, which has led to the registration of a case. The development has further intensified debates over the limits of social media expression and the accountability of online content.
