CM Chandrababu says Temples Are Not just spiritual centers, But Also Main source of Income For Development

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that temples are not just spiritual centers but also the main source of income for development. He said that temple tourism plays a special role in the development of the country. He was speaking at the inauguration of the International Temples Convention and Expo, the three-day program began in Tirupati on Monday.

Chief Ministers of three states, CM Chandrababu, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Goa CM Pramod Sawant participated in the inauguration of this expo. Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said that the infrastructure in the country should be further improved under the P-4 policy.

He revealed that the infrastructure in the temples of AP has been increased and Rs. 134 crores have been spent on the temples in 7 months. He said that salaries are being paid to the priests and funds are being allocated for Vedas. He assured that all facilities will be provided to the devotees coming to the temples in AP.

The CM said that the family system is the biggest strength of our country and praised the role of temples in preserving our culture and heritage. “55 crore devotees took a holy dip in the Kumbh Mela. Everyone who comes to the spiritual center Tirupati is welcome. Today, an AI expert is being made in every house. We should move forward with the use of technology”, he added.

Apart from that, Chandrababu said that many devotees are donating crores of rupees and spending those donations for the welfare of the poor. He recalled that NTR started the Annadanam program in the temples of AP at that time.

He said that Balaji temples are increasing in the country and abroad and should increase further. He said that we are very ahead in adopting technology and that it is another good fortune for us that there is a large number of youth in the country.
