The world’s largest conference dedicated to temple administration and management, the International Temples Convention and Expo (ITCX), will be held from 17 to 19 at the ASHA Conventions in Tirupati. It will be inaugurated by AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
The expo will feature expert discussions and workshops on temples. Temple Connect founder Giresh Kulkarni said that ITCX-2025, organized in collaboration with Antyodaya Pratishthan, will provide a dynamic platform to network, strengthen and modernize temple ecosystems across the world, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage.
It will be organized with the participation of about 1581 devotional institutions from 58 countries. Giresh Kulkarni said that ITCX is a movement that aims to revolutionize temple ecosystems through innovation and sustainability. As India has emerged as a global hub for devotional and spiritual tourism, it is necessary to manage, empower and streamline temple operations to prepare them for the future.
He said that by implementing smart management strategies, they can be made powerful centres of spirituality, tradition and community development.
ITCX Chairman and Chief Whip of Maharashtra Legislative Council Prasad Lad said that in line with the Prime Minister’s goal of preserving India’s cultural and spiritual heritage, ITCX aims to bridge the gap between tradition and modern governance. He clarified that temples are more than places of worship, they are cultural and economic powerhouses.
He explained that we strongly believe that every place of worship, no matter how small or remote, deserves to be given world-class governance models that enhance their religious, cultural and economic significance. ITCX will provide the necessary tools to the organizers and policymakers to enhance the capacity to preserve the heritage of temples.
Ms. Megha Ghosh, Co-Curator and IP Director, ITCX, Founder and CEO, Fierce Ventures, said that ITCX 2025 has an innovative three-phase format designed to enhance learning and collaboration.
