Kishan Reddy challenged Revanth Reddy For A debate whether PM Modi A BC Leader?

Strongly condemning Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not a BC by birth, but a `Converted BC’ as he became BC only after assuming the post of Chief Minister, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy challenged for an open debate on it. He strongly refuted Revanth Reddy’s ignorant remarks and his outbursts.

He challenged the Chief Minister to come to a public debate on the issue of whether the Prime Minister is a BC or not? He was angry that Revanth Reddy was talking like this out of impatience in the context of the Congress party losing its grip on the people in the state and across the country day by day.

He said that the Congress party is unable to digest the fact that the people are flocking to the Prime Minister as a person belonging to the BC community and a leader who is working sincerely for the upliftment of the BCs in the country.

He made it clear that the BJP and Narendra Modi do not need Revanth Reddy’s certificates when it comes to social harmony. Kishan Reddy reminded that the Narendra Modi government, which has given constitutional status to the BC Commission, has the honor of providing opportunities to 27 OBCs, 12 SCs, 8 STs and five minorities in the Union Cabinet.

Can Revanth give a count of previous Congress governments that worked with social harmony like this?, he asked. He said that after the Modi government came to power, 27% reservation was added for BCs in the NEET exams, and today BC brothers and sisters are getting admissions in higher educational institutions.

Kishan Reddy questioned what the Congress government is doing to BCs? He said that the BC associations are criticizing them for doing injustice by conducting a survey across the state like digging a hill and catching a mouse. They are angry that the survey was conducted in such an incomplete manner.

Kishan Reddy advised the Chief Minister to introspect on how much he had fulfilled his election promise of providing a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore for five years and Rs 20,000 crore per year. Didn’t the Congress party do injustice to BCs in terms of nominated posts? Has the Congress party made a single BC the Chief Minister in 75 years?, he asked. He recalled that the party that had announced that it would make BC the Chief Minister if it came to power in Telangana was the BJP.
