Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu has clarified that the alleged Super Six welfare schemes will, in fact, commence this year. All this comes in response to increasing blame-the-YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and other opposition leaders-for repeatedly postponing that promise made during the elections.
In the Budget Session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, which is slated to commence on February 24 and the state budget presentations on February 28, Naidu assured adequate budgetary allocations would be made for these important welfare initiatives.
To strategize the financial planning, Naidu convened a review meeting at his Undavalli residence, where he held discussions with Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and senior officials. He directed the finance department to ensure that the Super Six schemes receive priority allocations in the upcoming budget.
Super Six Welfare Schemes: First Phase Implementation
The government has decided to roll out three key schemes as part of the first phase this year:

Thalliki Vandanam – A welfare initiative aimed at supporting mothers.

Annadata Sukhibhava – Financial aid for farmers to strengthen the agricultural sector.

Free Bus Travel for Women – Providing women with free access to public transportation.
Addressing officials at a review meeting, Naidu emphasized the balancing of welfare schemes with development programs, ensuring that the state has a growing economy while meeting electoral commitments. He urged officials to ration budget allocations to ensure simultaneous progress of welfare and infrastructure development.
With this assurance, the TDP-led government has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering on its promises, paving the way for the Super Six schemes to be implemented effectively in Andhra Pradesh in the coming months.
