Ace producer Allu Aravind recently found himself at the center of controversy following his remarks about Game Changer, which sparked intense trolling. After facing severe backlash from Mega fans, the renowned producer, Allu Aravind, finally addressed the issue in front of the media.
During the pre-release event of the recent blockbuster ‘Thandel’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, Allu Aravind made a statement that upset Mega fans. He made a remark about producer Dil Raju’s recent experiences of experiencing both highs and lows within a week, referring to the box office performance of Sankranthi Ki Vasthunna and Game Changer. This led fans to believe he was indirectly taking a dig at his nephew, Ram Charan, resulting in heavy criticism.
At today’s press meet concerning Thandel’s piracy issue, Aravind clarified his stance, explaining that his words had been misconstrued. He stated, “I was trolled for my recent unintentional comments on Game Changer while talking about Dil Raju. When a senior journalist asked me to clarify, I didn’t comment because it wasn’t the right time to comment.”
He continued, “My intention was to highlight Dil Raju’s turbulent week of facing highs and lows within a week, particularly in light of recent IT raids, and not to take a jab at Ram Charan. Inadvertently, I made that statement, for which mega fans felt bad and trolled me.”
Apologizing to Mega fans, he said, “I never meant it intentionally. Charan is like my son. He is my only nephew, and I’m his only Mena Mama (maternal uncle). We share an excellent bond, and our relationship is good. So, please leave it behind. I realized later what I said and felt bad about it. I shouldn’t have said it.”
With this clarification, it remains to be seen if Mega fans will put the controversy to rest.
