Bollywood actor Devdatta G Nage, who gained immense popularity for his portrayal of Bajrang in Prabhas’ mythological film ‘Adipurush,’ is now set to appear in the upcoming adventurous and fun entertainer Robinhood.
On the occasion of the actor’s birthday today, the film team unveiled the first-look poster. The makers of Robinhood took to social media and extended birthday wishes to Devdatta, introducing him as Saamy in the newly released first look. The poster features him in a dark brown shirt and black dhoti, seated on a jeep while lighting a cigar, exuding a fierce and menacing look.
They captioned the post, “Team #Robinhood wishes the incredibly talented @devdatta.g.nage a very Happy Birthday. He will be at his menacing best as ‘Saamy’ in adventurous entertainer. IN CINEMAS WORLDWIDE ON MARCH 28th.”
Helmed by Venky Kudumula, Robinhood stars Nithiin and Sree Leela in lead roles, marking their second on-screen collaboration. Many renowned actors like Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Shine Tom Chacko, Dayanand Reddy, and others portrayed significant roles in this flick. Backed by the esteemed production house of Mythri Movie Makers, the movie’s music is composed by National Award-winning composer GV Prakash.
Originally, Robinhood was slated for a theatrical release in December last year but has faced multiple delays before finally locking March 28, 2025, as its release date. Notably, the film will go head-to-head at the box office with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the highly anticipated film of Nithiin’s favorite star, Pawan Kalyan.
