‘Bunny Vasu Talks ‘Thandel’: A Story Rooted in Real Life, Set to Hit Big

The much-anticipated film Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is scheduled for release on February 7. Directed by Chandu Mondeti, the film has already sparked excitement among audiences. Producer Bunny Vasu, during a recent media interaction, expressed confidence in the movie’s success, calling it a quintessential love story.

Vasu revealed that the film is set against the backdrop of the fishing community in a village called Matsyaleshya. The villagers, who travel to the Gujarat port for fishing, refer to their leader as Thandel, a term from the Gujarati language. He further shared that the script, written by Karthik, is inspired by true incidents from a neighboring village.

Naga Chaitanya, according to Vasu, was deeply moved by the storyline and embraced the challenging role of a fisherman with dedication. Thandel will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
