Education Minister Nara Lokesh said that the DSC notification will be issued as soon as the MLC election code is over in the state. He said that the process will start in March and the recruitment of teachers will be completed by the beginning of the next academic year.
He recalled that the TDP government has appointed more than 80 percent of the teachers in the united Andhra Pradesh and New Andhra Pradesh. He revealed that they are providing democratic freedom by holding regular consultations with the teachers’ unions and the opinion of the teachers is collected in every decision taken by the government. He said that the Education Commissioner listens to the problems of the teachers every Friday.
Lokesh said that the Transfer Act is being brought to make the transfer of teachers transparent and proving that the education system is not a system where unplanned decisions are taken. He made it clear that decisions are taken only after discussing with all the stakeholders and demonstrating democratic values.
Nara Lokesh expressed his anger that it was strange for YSRCP leaders to raise concerns over Jaganmohan Reddy’s pending fee reimbursement arrears. He said that Jagan had paid Rs. 3,000 crore in fee reimbursement arrears and that they had made payments of Rs. 800 crore in installments. He revealed that they were paying all the grain arrears, pending bills and employee arrears paid by Jagan to farmers.
He also clarified that they were the ones paying the fee reimbursement arrears paid by Jagan. He lamented that the YSRCP government had created confusion in the details of students and teachers in the education system. He said that the AAPAR card system is being introduced to know the accuracy of the number of students.
He explained that a special system is being introduced to prevent student dropouts in government schools. Nara Lokesh said that good feedback is being received on WhatsApp governance. He revealed that despite minor problems here and there, 161 services will be fully available within a week without any problems. He said that this is a revolutionary change in the use of technology. He said that amendments to the law are also being made to bring more and better services.
The Minister said that 520 services will be made available in 6 months and steps will be taken towards good governance. He said that transparency will increase and corruption will also decrease through WhatsApp governance. Lokesh clarified that if WhatsApp governance is used, there will be no problem of personal information being leaked.
