CM Chandrababu Ridiculed Revanth Reddy’s claims of More MoUs At Davos?

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who returned after concluding his Davos visit, is believed to have indirectly ridiculed the claims of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy that he was able to sign huge investment agreements, whereas AP CM was not able to sign a single agreement.

Without mentioning Revanth Reddy’s claims, Chandrababu said that ‘Everyone has an illusion about Davos. How many MOUs were signed? How much money was received? This is an illusion. In that sense, there is no need to go there to sign MOUs if they are here. Davos is a place for networking.’

These comments made by Chandrababu Naidu are going viral on social media. Political analysts and netizens are saying that CM Chandrababu Naidu, who is keeping Telangana CM Revanth Reddy in mind in a way that no one expected, must have come up with these sarcastic remarks.

Because all three companies that CM Revanth Reddy signed agreements with as part of his Davos visit belong to Hyderabad. These are companies that are based in the state capital. They signed agreements with the government in the presence of CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu to invest in the state.

That was in Davos, Switzerland. It is known that the agreements that should have been made in the Secretariat, which is five or six kilometers away from the headquarters of the respective companies, were made in Davos, which is over 7,000 kms  away.

It is known that questions have been raised on social media as to why the agreements were made in Davos, which is 7,000 kms away? In fact, the WEF should be a platform to introduce the opportunities in Telangana to domestic and foreign companies, hold discussions and achieve investments.

A presentation should be given to attract foreign companies wanting to invest in India to Telangana. Now questions arise that why there is a need to explain the new opportunities in Telangana to Hyderabadi companies?

It is known that the government has announced that Megha will invest Rs. 15,000 crores, Control S will invest Rs. 10,000 crores, and Skyroot will invest Rs. 500 crores. In total, the three companies will invest Rs. 25,500 crores. Many wondered that the Chief Minister of the neighboring state is also making fun of Telangana and the state became laughed at in other states.
