Bollywood star Sunny Deol and renowned Tollywood director Gopichand Malineni have joined for an action-packed entertainer, “Jaat.” Marking Gopichand Malineni’s grand entry into Bollywood, the film is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
Today, the filmmakers announced the much-awaited release date of this highly anticipated film with a striking new poster featuring Sunny Deol in a fierce look, armed with a shoulder-mounted missile launcher, with a helicopter and flying currency in the background. The release date is confirmed as April 10, 2025.
Along with the poster, they wrote, “Action Superstar @iamsunnydeol is coming to the big screens with UNRESTRICTED ACTION & UNFATHOMABLE AURA #JAAT GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON APRIL 10th In Hindi, Telugu & Tamil MASS FEAST GUARANTEED.”
The film “Jaat” is jointly produced by two big production houses, Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. Regina Cassandra plays the female lead alongside Sunny Deol in this flick, with other notable actors like Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Vinnet Kumar, Swarupa Ghosh, and others in pivotal roles. The technical crew includes blockbuster music director SS Thaman, producing the musical score, with Rishi Punjab as the cinematographer and Naviin Nooli as the editor.
On the work front, Sunny is currently working on Lahore 1947 and Border 2. Lahore 1947 is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and is backed by Aamir Khan Productions. Preity Zinta is the female lead for this period action drama.
Meanwhile, Border 2 stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in significant roles alongside Sunny. Helmed by Anurag Singh, it is slated for a 2026 release.
