KTR Challenges CM Revanth Reddy to Lie Detector Test After ED Interrogation

This latest development follows KT Rama Rao, or KTR as popularly known and BRS working president, after his latest exchange with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This happened after 7 hours of quizzing he received from the Enforcement Directorate at Hyderabad on Thursday. While using this as an opportunity, the former blasted the government accusing them of using public money lavishly in a politically motivated inquiry.

“I answered all the questions from the ED, which were similar to those asked by the ACB. I assured them that I would cooperate fully, as I am a law-abiding citizen. But it’s disappointing that more than ₹10 crore of taxpayer money is being spent on an investigation that seems to be aimed solely at targeting me,” KTR said during a media interaction following his interrogation.

KTR strongly rejected any allegations of corruption tied to the Formula E Racing event, asserting, “There has been no corruption, and all transactions were transparent. There is no room for money laundering in this case.” He accused CM Revanth Reddy’s government of leveraging these investigations for political gain, particularly given that Revanth Reddy himself is under investigation by the ACB and ED.

Addressing the ongoing controversy, KTR stated, “Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed, but I have done nothing wrong. So why continue wasting public funds on an investigation that lacks substance?”

In a direct challenge to CM Revanth Reddy, KTR proposed that both of them undergo a lie detector test in front of a judge, saying, “Let’s both take a polygraph test, and the truth will be revealed. There will be no question about who the real wrongdoer is.”

KTR’s provocative challenge has further fueled the political drama in Telangana, heightening the stakes as both sides continue to clash in the face of these investigations.
