Huzurabad MLA and BRS leader Padi Kaushik Reddy has been granted bail by the Second Additional Junior Civil Judge, Premalatha, in Karimnagar on Tuesday.
The arrest came after Jagtial MLA Dr. Sanjay lodged a complaint with the Karimnagar Town-I police, alleging that Kaushik Reddy had used abusive language during a review meeting held at the Karimnagar Collectorate two days ago. Following the complaint, three cases were registered against Kaushik Reddy.
The Karimnagar police took Kaushik Reddy into custody on Monday while he was returning from a TV program in Hyderabad. After being presented in court, he was granted bail.
Speaking to the media before being produced in court, Kaushik Reddy stated that the BRS would continue to question the Congress until it fulfills the promises made to the public. He asserted that there would be no compromise on holding the Congress accountable for neglecting its commitments to the people.
