Now that the verdict of two Sankranti biggies is already out, the attention now shifts towards the third film ‘Sankranti ki Vastunnam’ which releases this Tuesday. While Ram Charan’s Game Changer seems to be clearly struggling in all territories due to poor talk, Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj has managed to put on impressive numbers in mass pockets of Telugu states so far despite above average word of mouth.
Sankranti ki Vastunnam, which is touted to be the dark hourse of the season from the day of its announcement, will stand a chance to emerge as the festival winner if it garners positive talk from premiere shows in overseas. The Victory Venkatesh starrer has been carrying phenomenal reports, thanks to the stupendous promotional campaign and the sensational response for the audio songs.
Family audiences have been eagerly waiting for this full-length comedy caper which is likely to provide wholesome entertainment during the festival season. The advance bookings are quite sensational in all areas and the film is likely to take a mind-blowing start at the box office. The BMS sales have breached the 100K mark in no time and the offline advances are also very promising.
Trade circles predict that Sankranti ki Vastunnam will become the biggest opener in Victory Venkatesh’s career as the first day numbers will be outstanding going by the current trend. If director Anil Ravipudi, who is a master in dishing out-and-out slapstick comedies, can cater to the expectations of moviegoers, Sankranti ki Vastunnam might emerge as a clear winner of the festival.
Sankranti ki Vastunnam is billed as a fun-filled crime saga revolving three leading characters played by Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The pre-release promos and publicity material have struck a chord with the audiences. The blockbuster music album composed by Bheema Cecirelo have set the tone for the film.
Dil Raju is the producer for this film.
