Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu wished that this Sankranti would bring new light and happiness to the lives of all the people. He extended his greetings to all the Telugu people on the occasion of Sankranti and said that everyone should make it a habit to go to their village and meet with four people during the festival.
He said that this is why he goes to our village every Sankranti. He said that if the people at the top of the society follow this, it will be an inspiration to the rest. He reminded that his wife Bhuvaneswari is the reason for the tradition of going to our village. He said that they are following this tradition that she insisted on starting years ago.
Chandrababu said that in these days when human relations are decreasing, it is very important to meet and talk in one place. He said that when we celebrate the festival happily, it is our responsibility to ensure that the poor in that village are also happy.
CM Chandrababu said that it is the responsibility of the rest to help the poor and support them and the P4 concept paper will be released on Sunday to promote this policy. He said that it will be implemented after discussions at all levels.
He said that those who have done well in the P4 policy will be encouraged by giving awards at the mandal, district and state levels. He said that this time the Sankranti rush is higher than ever and people are coming in large numbers to go to their hometowns. He said that he will talk to the collectors to control the rush.
The Chief Minister said that the suggestion of arranging buses for colleges and schools to reach those who have reached major cities to their hometowns will be examined. He said that most of the roads have been improved compared to the last Sankranti.
He said that the remaining roads will be improved by the end of next month. He said that festivals will be a bridge to increase good relations between people. CM Chandrababu said that this time, programs like Happy Sunday will be encouraged at the village level as well.
