Teenmaar Mallanna Files Complaint Against Pushpa 2 Director, Actor, Producers Over Offensive Police Scenes

Congress MLC Teenmaar Mallanna has lodged a formal complaint with the Medipally Police Station in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, calling for action against the director, lead actor, and producers of Pushpa 2. The complaint alleges that certain scenes in the film degrade police officers.

Mallanna stated that after watching the film, he found some sequences disturbing, specifically those that depict police officers in a negative light. In one scene, a sandalwood smuggler allegedly crashes into a police officer’s car, causing the officer to fall into a swimming pool where urine is shown being poured on him, which Mallanna argues is an insult to the police force.

The complaint demands that the director, actor, and producers be held accountable for these scenes, and also questioned the Censor Board’s decision to allow such content. Mallanna further called for a ban on films that portray such disrespect and urged for the promotion of films with constructive messages. He emphasized that action should be taken against those involved in making such films.
