Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, during a semi-Christmas celebration in Vijayawada, expressed that despite extensive efforts over the past six months, a resolution for the devastation caused in the last five years remains elusive. However, he emphasized that the goal of improving the state would not be abandoned, regardless of the challenges.
The Chief Minister assured the Christian community that the coalition government would continue to stand firmly behind them. He further affirmed that the NDA government prioritizes the welfare and security of minority communities.
Naidu also outlined plans to complete the construction of a Christian building in Guntur, citing the previous government’s neglect in its development. He reminded the gathering that it was under the TDP government that financial assistance for Christians traveling to Jerusalem was first initiated. Criticizing previous administrations for creating challenges for Christian-affiliated colleges, Naidu urged collective efforts to address economic inequalities.
The Chief Minister concluded the event by participating in a Christmas cake-cutting ceremony alongside members of the Christian community.
