TTD preparing A special plan with `Tirumala Vision 2047’

The TTD has been preparing a special plan with the `Tirumala Vision 2047’ in the lines of `Swarnandhra Vision 2047’ document, on the directions of the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to develop Tirumala in a planned manner. TTD Executive Officer Shyamala Rao reminded that Tirumala is under the TUDA Master Plan in 2019. He said that the TUDA Plan will be formulated aiming at the development of Tirumala.

He said that the Tirumala Vision Plan will be prepared after discussing with expert companies and special attention has been paid to queue management. He said that changes have been made so that devotees do not have to wait in queues for a long time. He said that the quality of Anna Prasadam and Laddu has been improved.

EO said that the names of 45 guest houses built by donors in Tirumala should be changed. Stating that footpaths are not in order, he said that they will be developed. He said that multi-level parking areas will be set up in Tirumala and new roads and link roads will be expanded. He said that some places should be reconstructed.

Shyamala Rao said that the bus stand needs to be changed and a base camp will be set up in 42 acres at Alipiri. As there are a lot of vehicles coming to Tirumala, he said efforts will be made for their regulation. He said that construction also will be undertaken as per the urban design guidelines.

EO made it clear that action is being taken against non-Hindu employees as per the TTD board decisions and they will be sent to other departments or given VRS. He said that quality ghee will be used for making prasadams and a new TTD lab will be available soon.

Stating that there are 61 temples under TTD, he said that they will be developed. He said that experts’ opinions have been sought for suggestions to develop the affiliated temples. Shyamala Rao said that there are problems in the Mada streets of Tiruchanur and moreover, Akasha Ganga and Papavinasanam need to be developed.

He said that Rs. 100 crores are being spent on the All Hindu religious project. Some errors have been identified and an audit is being conducted on the programs conducted in the last three years.
