Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan assured that tribal areas will be developed in two and a half years. He promised to prepare a plan and start work in six months. He toured Manyam and Parvathipuram districts on Friday. In this context, he inaugurated the construction of roads from Bagujolu, his favorite mandal.
The problems of the people of some villages in Alluri and Parvathipuram districts, which have been isolated from the outside world for decades, are about to end. Due to the lack of proper roads in the villages, about 21 doli motas have taken place in the last 3 years.
With the construction of these roads, the government will put an end to the doli woes. Road construction has been undertaken for the Bagujolu – Sirivaram road with an estimated cost of Rs. 9 crore. Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone for the construction of the road.
Speaking in this context, Pawan said that he would provide a remunerative price for the crops grown by the tribals. He made it clear that he would work for the welfare of the tribals whether in power or not. He said that he had asked the Chief Minister to build roads in 4,000 tribal villages.
Pawan also said that all tribal children should get a good education. He deplored that even after 75 years of independence, we have not been able to build roads here. But, he said now we are building new roads under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that when he visited the tribal areas in 2017, he saw some problems and said that the tribals were facing many difficulties due to lack of drinking water and roads. With the construction of these roads, the problems of the people of the tribal villages in the two districts will be solved.
In total, foundation stones for 19 new roads will be laid across the two districts. At a cost of approximately Rs 36.71 crore, 39.32 km of new roads will be constructed. With the construction of these roads, 3782 people from 55 tribal villages will be freed from the suffering of doli.
