CM Chandrababu Slams Ministers for Delays

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed anger that files are not being cleared quickly by several ministers in the state and a lot of files are waiting for their clearance in their chambers. He also finds fault that several ministers are not using technology properly in their functioning.

The Chief Minister cautioned them that he is specifically monitoring the performance of each and every minister. He also said that he knows everything about how long a file is pending with the minister and tracking movements of files in each ministry.

After completion of the cabinet meeting on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu has discussed with ministers on their performance and also other recent political developments with ministers. He expressed his anger over the in-charge ministers not going to some districts.

The Chief MInister said that feedback is being collected through IVRS on the performance of ministers and MLAs. He explained that he is also gathering information about the public’s opinion as ministers and as a government.

Chandrababu Naidu revealed that only three have given self-appraisal on their performance for 6 months. He said that Nimmala Ramanaidu, Gummadi Sandhya Rani and Kondapalli Srinivas have given self-appraisal. He suggested that the ministers should increase field visits.

The CM expressed his dissatisfaction that some ministers are not making good use of social media.  He rejected the suggestion made by several ministers that time period to move no-confidence motions in local bodies should be reduced, so that to enable unseat several YCP Chairmans and Vice Chairmans in Municipalities and Mandal Parishads.CM made it clear that politics should be based on values, not party achievements.

The Chief Minister decided to continue revenue conferences to resolve land related problems of people. Chandrababu cautioned that ministers should be careful in their speeches and statements. He warns that even if we speak with good intentions on sensitive issues, that may give scope to send a wrong message.

He reminded the ministers that in the past, a false campaign was carried out against him as if he spoke badly about agriculture, though he did not say anything about agriculture.
